I love this image.  I wish I had one just like it with each of my children so I could always see the love on their faces and feel the way I do when they look at me like this.

favorite Father's Day surprise

When my dear friend told me her idea for her husband's Father's Day gift I was immediately excited to take part.   She wanted to capture a moment in time and a tradition with her daughters that is special to her family and that she knew her husband would love. 

And he did.  

I have been wanting to share these because not only are they such lovely images, but because it is a great example of how you can customize and tailor your portrait session your own way.

Those of you who read my blog often know that occasionally I walk away from a session with a little crush.  This time I had three.  But seriously, can you blame me?

look who's a big brother!

You know that sweet, sleepy baby in front of the hydrangeas on the front page of my website?  He's now the big brother to this sweet, little boy!

His Mom was worried that he would sleep through the whole session...

Count them, 5!  Don't you think their mom deserves a medal?  I actually know this family personally and these guys are all amazing.  Their mom really does deserve a medal.
